Luke Ambler - Mental Health Talk

On Friday, former professional rugby league player Luke Ambler visited Rochdale Sixth Form College and spoke to our year 12s about mental health, exam stress, and resilience in the face of challenges.

He explained how his own experience in tragedy led him to found Andy's Man Club, a group dedicated to providing a safe space for men aged 18 and up to open up about their mental health struggles. With 100 clubs around the United Kingdom, Luke has made a serious impact and is working to put an end to the stigma around mental health. With a positive and relatable attitude, he left us with valuable lessons on developing our mental wellbeing and resilience!
