Students recently participated in an insightful educational trip to Chester Zoo, where they engaged in a workshop centered around animal behaviour. The workshop established numerous connections with the content previously studied in their year 12 curriculum, particularly pertaining to human and ape attachment behaviour. Moreover, it served as a platform to augment their general knowledge regarding the significance of conservation, while also presenting entertaining facts that drew parallels between apes and humans, alongside elucidating the biological disparities between these two species.

Following the enlightening workshop, the students were treated to a comprehensive zoo tour, which provided them with a deeper understanding of animal behaviour. Psychology student Arisa Asgar commented: "The experience was genuinely enjoyable, and I acquired a substantial amount of knowledge concerning attachment. Witnessing diverse animal behaviours allowed me to forge meaningful connections to the field of Psychology."

Mackenzie Robbins, Psychology teacher, conveyed that the students exhibited profound interest in the practical aspects of Psychology and the opportunity to gain further insights into human behavior. Many students conveyed their newfound comprehension of Psychology's real-world applications
