MFL trip to The University of Manchester 2023

Recently students from the MFL department attended the Language Education at A level and Further (LEAF) event at the University of Manchester. The excursion proved to be a valuable experience for these young linguists, exposing them to lectures on language studies at university level and potential career paths.

Additionally, students had the opportunity to partake in engaging taster sessions in Chinese and German for beginners, along with thought-provoking lectures on French feminism, French cinema, Italian cinema, and exploring Latin America through language.

The trip proved to be a memorable experience, providing an ideal setting for students to interact with university scholars and engage in lively conversations, thus honing their French and Spanish language skills.
