National Careers Week 2023

National Careers Week took place 6 - 13 March. The aim is to provide a focus for careers guidance activity at an important stage in the academic calendar to help support young people in making informed decisions about their next steps and careers. Rochdale Borough Council delivered a talk on careers in Adult Social Care, which also linked to the current topic being studied by year 12 BTEC Health and Social Care students. 

Alex Andrews, Associate Director and Ben Wright, Graduate Surveyor from CBRE - a global real estate company working with organisations such as HSBC, Microsoft, Google and Amazon delivered a talk to business students about their roles, internships, apprenticeships and graduate programmes, throughout their organisation. 

On Friday 10 March, each curriculum subject delivered a careers lesson providing students with information on prestigious universities for their subject area, future career paths and the future earning potential.
