MFL Barcelona Trip 2025

Modern Foreign Language students had a fantastic weekend in Barcelona, soaking up the city’s culture and history on an unforgettable trip!

They explored the famous Picasso Museum and got hands-on in a tapas workshop at Poble Espanyol, where they learned all about the history of tapas – entirely in Spanish! On the final day, they tucked into traditional paella at the bustling Boqueria Market after wandering down the iconic La Rambla, taking in the stunning views at Park Güell, and admiring the breathtaking Sagrada Familia with a brilliant guide who brought its history to life.

Students also explored the Gothic Quarter on a guided tour – once again in Spanish – uncovering fascinating stories about the city and its past. They’ve come back feeling inspired, culturally enriched, and more motivated than ever to keep improving their language skills!
