PE Students Visit Carnegie Sports Day at Leeds Beckett

On Thursday, 16 January, PE students participated in a Carnegie Sports Experience Day at Leeds Beckett University's Headingley campus. The day featured three engaging workshops and a comprehensive tour of the campus, offering students an inspiring introduction to the world of sports.

The workshops explored key areas of sports education, including the principles of Physical Education, the scientific factors affecting athlete health and performance, and the complexities of Sports Coaching. These interactive sessions provided students with the chance to apply their A Level knowledge in a practical context, linking classroom theory to real-world practice.

The tour of the Headingley campus highlighted the university's cutting-edge facilities, giving students an insight into its vibrant academic environment.
