Lemn Sissay OBE visit

Last week we were joined by author, poet, and playwright, Lemn Sissay. With a full audience of staff and students, Lemn read from his memoirs, ‘My Name is Why’, recounting his early childhood. He also read some of his poems, pausing for questions. Lemn then went on to open the Sissay building at one of our Trust schools, Kingsway Park High School, where both staff and students warmly welcomed him.
