Chemistry Olympiad

Fourteen Chemistry students recently participated in the UK Chemistry Olympiad run by the Royal Society of Chemistry. Completed as a written exam, it allows students to develop their critical problem-solving skills, learn to think more creatively, and get a chance to test their knowledge in new, real-world situations.

This year’s test included questions on Elon Musk’s Space X programme. Each student demonstrated outstanding performance and Rochdale Sixth Form took home thirteen medals. Three gold, four silver, and six bronze. Congratulations to all participants for their remarkable achievements!
