Your guide to enrolment

Your guide to enrolment

Published: 21st August 2019

Enrolment day at RSFC is on Friday 23 August 2019. You will receive a letter over the summer with details of your appointment time. Enrolment day is the final stage of your application to RSFC. Following the completion of your enrolment, you will officially become a Rochdale Sixth Form College Student.

What do I need to bring to enrolment?
You will need to bring confirmation of your GCSE results; these will be available for collection from your school on GCSE results day on Thursday 22 August 2019.

What if I don’t achieve the right grades?
Occasionally GCSE results may not be as expected. Please don’t worry if this is the case for you, part of the enrolment process is an individual discussion with a member of staff who will provide advice and guidance to ensure that you are on the best possible programme to be successful.

Can I enrol at more than one college?
You should only enrol at one college, the enrolment process is the final stage of your application and once you have enrolled, you are confirming that you will be attending that college.

What if I change my mind about the subjects I have chosen?
As part of the enrolment process, you will have a discussion with a member of staff to confirm your subject choices where you can discuss any potential changes. You will receive advice and guidance to ensure that you are on the best programme for you.

I’m not able to attend the college on enrolment day – can I still enrol at RSFC?
If you are unable to attend the enrolment day you will need to contact the college to make alternative arrangements once you have received your invitation letter.

Following enrolment, you will commence your studies at RSFC with an induction day on Monday 2 September.

We wish you the very best for results day and look forward to welcoming you to the college as an official RSFC student!
