Job description:

We are looking to appoint an outstanding, enthusiastic and passionate Estates Manager, who is keen to continuously improve the classroom experience of our students. The college opened in 2010, and around 1780 students currently study with us.

The college wishes to appoint someone who is highly motivated and resilient, with a genuine desire to improve the life chances of our young people. Above all, we are looking for someone who naturally fits with the ethos and culture of the college and who can work within a successful and hardworking team. Key Areas of Responsibility:

· To undertake the effective leadership of the estate including maintenance, security, cleaning and waste disposal.

· Devise and implement appropriate polices relating to estates management and develop existing estates policies

· Be the nominated Health and Safety Officer for the College and develop relevant and appropriate systems to maintain the welfare of students, staff and visitors, and minimise risk.

· To manage, develop and operate all aspects of the estate’s operational management information systems function.

Salary details:

Salary: All appointments will be made on the nationally agreed Sixth Form College pay spine based on qualification and experience. The salary for this post is points 19-22, currently £28,242 to £30,894 per annum. More may be available for an exceptional candidate.
