Once again, we have topped the Department for Education’s Performance Tables , having been named the highest ranked Sixth Form College for value added performance in the country for the fifth year.
The tables released each January show that students at RSFC make more progress than students at any other sixth form college in the UK.
The national league tables are calculated by measuring students’ progress since joining the college. Achieving the highest value added score of all sixth form colleges confirms that we continue to change the lives of young people in Rochdale and surrounding boroughs.
We were graded outstanding by Ofsted in 2013 and continue to go from strength to strength achieving record results in 2018.
Our Principal Richard Ronksley said: “Topping the Department for Education performance tables is no mean feat and we’re all delighted to receive this national recognition for the fifth time. Students, staff and parents/carers all work incredibly hard and this is reflected in these fantastic results, which we are all incredibly proud of.”
Rochdale Sixth Form College is the founding institution of the Altus Education Partnership.
